Each page relive true experiences of Emili-Rose and her family as they cope in a microcosm society. The story does not take away the victimizatiom of this Black family, nor does it take away from the biting stings that threatens a little girl's dreams, but in a gentle way, the author shares her heart through the eyes of a child, as only a child can tell. Emili-Rose invites you, the reader to a sobering, life-affirming, and exhilarating glimpse of her past.
